Historia
Brujo nace en el 2007 con Lenin Alvarez en el bajo y Jorge Lara en el teclado. Varios músicos formaron parte del proyecto en sus inicios, pero el objetivo era claro, hacer música original. A principios del 2008 se incorpora a la banda Roberto Vargas en el saxo y Samuel Galán en la batería. Después de vairas presentaciones en vivo, la banda se formaliza y se empieza la producción del primer disco que se llamaría Día 6. Esta es una producción que cuenta con 6 temas originales que van desde el funk hasta temas con una influencia de jazz tradicional. El álbum se lanzó en el primer cuarto del año 2009 con muy buena aceptación, y Día 6 se convirtió en el primer disco de fusión jazz producido en El Salvador. Durante el año 2009 se realizaron presentaciones en vivo, entre ellas está el primer festival de jazz de Santa Tecla, Suchitoto jazz festival, La Luna fusion fest, El brujo del ático (un experimento en el que las bandas intercambiaron algunos de sus tema para ser interpretados en un pequeño festival) y varias presentaciones en el interior del país. Para el 2010 la banda prepara su segunda producción discográfica con temas inéditos y con alineación nueva, pues ahora el guitarrista José Flores se incorporó al proyecto. En el 2010 Samuel deja la banda por razones personal y se une al proyecto Mauricio Hernandez. El segundo disco esta en proceso de post producción y se esper este listo a finales de 2010.
