VIVA LA MÚSICA
Hoy las fanfarrias son para sus creadores. Desde finales de la edad media, Santa Cecilia ha sido representada tocando instrumentos o cantando, convirtiéndose para muchos en la patrona de los músicos. También en El Salvador se difundió la costumbre de celebrar el 22 de noviembre, onomástico de la Santa, como día de los músicos.
Ahora, el Foro CONTRAPUNTO y www.musica.com.sv impulsan la celebración de esta tradición para hacer posible un día dedicado a los músicos y a la música de nuestro país, pero también para promover los valores artísticos salvadoreños dentro y fuera de las fronteras nacionales.
VIVA LA MÚSICA, el evento, es también la plataforma para convocar a los músicos salvadoreños que residen en el país y en el extranjero con el fin de conocer y recopilar sus currículos musicales.
A partir del 22 de noviembre se iniciará el registro por varios medios: a través de libros esparcidos en Casas de la Cultura, escuelas de música, centros culturales, espacios en sitios web de arte y cultura salvadoreña y a través de nuestro correo electrónico o al correo
Con ello, el Foro CONTRAPUNTO elaborará un Catálogo de músicos salvadoreños que pondremos en conocimiento del público a través de Internet.
VIVA LA MÚSICA es una oportunidad para que en diversas regiones y de variadas formas, se efectúen actividades para saludar, elogiar, promover y difundir el trabajo de los y las músicos salvadoreños.
Desde el 20 de noviembre realizara un programa de actividades de acceso libre:
· 20 y 21 de noviembre a partir de las 2:00pm. Conferencias y cine-foros sobre temas musicales en el Centro Nacional de Artes.
· 22 de noviembre 10:00am: Desfile musical de la Ceiba de la Paz hacia el Centro Nacional de Artes CENAR.
· A partir de las 2:00pm: Conciertos y recitales en el Auditorio “Carlos Cañas” del CENAR.
