Nuestro pais, El Salvador, un lugar magico con muchas historias por contar, no necesariamente buenas, no necesariamente malas, con muchos personajes, situaciones, momentos, alegrias y tristezas. De eso precisamente habla la nueva produccion de OVNI, la banda estandarte del rock progresivo en nuestro pais.

Los personajes

“Salvadoreño/Alien” lleva por titulo y en sus 37 tracks refleja lo cotidiano. Una parte de los temas estan en español  y  corresponden a los puntos de vista del primer personaje que es un Salvadoreño comun y corriente que vive, disfruta y sufre de lo que pasa cada dia en El Salvador. Otra parte de las canciones estan en ingles y reflejan las perspectiva de un Salvadoreño en el exterior y de como poco a poco va perdiendo su identidad y se va olvidando de la realidad de la tierra que lo vio nacer.

Pero segun el mismo Rafael Alfaro hace falta un tercer personaje que es: EL SALVADOR MISMO y que por medio de ambientaciones instrumentales expresa los diferentes episodios y rasgoz caracteristicos que han marcado nuestra historia.

La interaccion de estos tres nos da como resultado un disco lleno de pasajes musicales totalmente diferentes. Cada cancion representa algo caracteristico de nuestra region.

Mucho trabajo, poco apoyo, grandes sueños

Sin duda cada disco de OVNI nos sorprende y nos llena de emocion, siempre tienen algo que contar con su musica y se experimenta la calidad, tanto de composicion, como de ejecucion.

En este caso Salvadoreño/Alien rompe con todos los esquemas y se presenta como uno de los proyectos mas ambiciosos de la banda.  Tanto Rafa como su hermano Mauricio Alfaro han trabajado durante mucho tiempo para este lanzamiento. Como siempre son pocos los medios de comunicacion que brindan un apoyo real y completo.
