Clandestino 10 – 4 no sólo es rock, es política y visión de vanguardia. Así como lo describe Carlos “Raton” Magaña, uno de sus poetas: “Ante una historia de represión popular, guerra civil y una post – guerra muy estéril, Clandestino 10 – 4 pretende, a través de su amplio espectro de sonidos y ritmos, participar en la transformación de la realidad”.
En efecto, su lírica es revolucionaria, sarcástica, potente y sin ningún pelo en la lengua para plasmar su profundo caracter anti-derechista. “Son críticas directas a los dueños del poder en esta historia, plantea la necesidad de cambios a favor de las mayorías del país”.
La raza clandestina se distribuye así: En las voces el legendario Roberto Torres “El greñas” (ex – La IGUANA) y Carlos Magaña (Ex - La Pua). En las guitarras Carlos Molina y Alex “Bola 8” Huezo (también Ex – Pua), Carlos “Karlov” Argueta (Ex – Kadishi) en el bajo, Arturo Tovar “La gota”, en la batería; y por último, Charly Díaz en la percusión.
HISTORIA INSURRECTA
“El nombre Clandestino hace alusión a todos los desaparecidos y perseguidos que siempre ha habido en Latinoamérica. El 10 – 4 es la clave de comunicación policial que significa mensaje copiado”, dice Alex “Bola 8” Huezo.

Clandestino define su estilo como Rock Latino que es una mezcla de rumba, power, funk, reggae y otras influencias.
La primera canción que compuso el grupo se llama Mundo Patético. “Esa una de las pocas canciones que no tocan temas sociales y trata acerca de las relaciones con aquellas mujeres que te quieren tener del “cuyo”. Es una canción algo juguetona”, explica Alex. La siguiente canción que crearon tiene el nombre del grupo “Clandestino”. La canción es controversial ya que el grupo “le tira” una directa al que consideran uno de los mayores asesinos del país. “La canción dice Aquí estoy escuadrones, vengan por mí, malditos D´abuissones.”.
Otra canción fuerte se titula “Arenazi” y alude al partido en el gobierno. “Es una respuesta, un resentimiento, una forma de incitar al cambio. Es ganas de putearlos y decirles que las decisiones que están tomando se están cagando en todos”, dice “El Ratón”.

El grupo se preocupa por explorar la problemática que vive un alto porcentaje de la juventud salvadoreña de los estratos más sufridos. Clandestino tiene una canción llamada “Rifa”, en ella exponen la necesidad de parar el derramamiento de sangre que sucede en las calles.
“La juventud es el poder más dinámico que tiene la sociedad. Si la juventud se pudiera identificar hasta podrían formar un ejército y salir de sus problemáticas”, dice Carlos Magaña. “Nuestra música es para los jóvenes. Queremos influenciarlos para que se unan y que canalicen sus energías de una manera más inteligente”.
Clandestino 10 – 4 tiene como proyecto realizar una gira llamada “Sangre Unida”. “Queremos llegar específicamente a los jóvenes de las maras. Si salimos del mismo barrio porqué se tienen que dar verga entre ellos”.
