Originarios de Coatepeque, Santa Ana. Efecto Sur es una Banda de rock que nacio a principios del 2006 formada por ex integrantes de Dark Valley y Letargo que por diferencias de interes tanto musical como de personalidades le dio paso a la evolucion que hoy es Efecto Sur. Musicos por naturaleza y principalmente pasion a esta misma, cada nota en sus canciones reflejan el esmero por crear musica con sentido en sus palabras y melodias de las cuales una nueva propuesta de rock en espanol es creada por Victor Landaverde , Eric Cuellar ,Kokein Cuellar y Alex Lima dando espacio a su primer demo cd " YA NADA ES IGUAL" grabado,mezclado y editado por ellos mismos en "Calavera Studios " entre diciembre 20 del 2006 y enero 16 del 2007 del cual se grabaron 8 canciones : EL TUNEL , ADICCION , AL MISMO LUGAR , NICOTINA , DESTINO , NUESTRO AYER , DIA ANORMAL ,SIN SAL :que tocan temas desde la vida cotidiana, amor ,realidad ,exitos y fracasos, esperando lanzar los primeros sencillos a mediados de Septiembre del 2007. Efecto Sur es una grupo que a pesar de tan corto tiempo de establecerse como banda a encontrado como fusionar el talento distinto de cada uno de sus integrantes en los generos del rock,blues,punk,metal por mencionar algunos, dandole un sonido original y unico que indiscutiblemente le da su sello propio a este cuarteto de musicos. Efecto Sur agradece a: Su familia y amigos por el apoyo recibido durante las grabaciones y todo el proceso que nos a llevado a donde estamos, al pueblo de Coatepeque y todos los fanaticos apoyandonos cada dia incondicionalmente.
