La Moda

Moisés Urrutia y Daniel Vega, quedan con tremendas ganas por seguir produciendo música tropical. De esa “necesidad musical” surge la idea del Grupo La Moda, una agrupación de corte tropical juvenil que con ritmo y sabor surge como una verdadera opción para bailar y disfrutar.

Mo-ises y Da-niel no solamente unieron su gusto por la música tropical; ellos también fusionaron la primera sílaba de sus nombres para darle nombre a ese sueño musical que, desde hace dos años es toda una realidad. Por cuestiones personales o desánimo a la hora de la verdad, Moisés Urrutia abandona el proyecto (¡¡¡muy grande el mounstro!!!) pero Daniel Vega sigue adelante para lograr lo que ahora es un grupo sólido y con carácter.

Combinando la experiencia de su fundador con la energía y el dinamismo de varios jóvenes seleccionados previamente a través de una audición, La Moda cuenta con una actual alineación que en las fiestas ponen a bailar a todo mundo, con ritmos de cumbia, merengue, bachata y reguee.

Con el fundador, Daniel Vega, el coreógrafo, Émerson Umaña; Ronaldo Arguera y Nelson Pineda Jr. en las voces y delantera; el chalchuapaneco Marlon Oliver Flores, en los teclados y secuencias; Edwin Fuentes, en las congas; Jaime Contreras, en el bajo; y el también ex-Espíritu Libre y director musical de la agrupación, Luis Amaya y Herbert Melgar, en el sonido, La Moda sigue la línea del trabajo y dedicación que a la postre da los resultados.

Y esos resultados están llegando pronto. Luego de grabar su primera producción en Audio Z, bajo la dirección de su productor discográfico, Jaime Álvarez, con la disquera gringa-salvadoreña SALVAVISION, con 7 temas tropicales covers, la compañía disquera chapina DIFOSA se interesó por ellos y firmó con el grupo un contrato por 3 años, lo cual les sorprende porque esa compañía firma contratos solamente por un año. “Por qué firmaron por 3 años con nosotros no me preguntés por que ni nosotros sabemos. Yo creo que le han visto madera al grupo” manifiesta Vega, sonriente y admirado.
