La banda Víbora nació en octubre del 2005 cuando Antonio Morán y William Courtade tienen la idea de tocar covers de Glam Metal de los años 80’s. En ese entonces nadie tocaba este género ya que todas las bandas nuevas se interesaban por géneros como el Black metal o en el otro extremo, el Power Speed Metal Europeo géneros populares entonces.
Tiempo después entra a la banda Zamir Fajardo en la batería y se comienza a tocar en bares con un buen recibimiento de parte del público, después de medio año de tocar en San Salvador y en el interior del país, William decide dejar la banda por motivos de viaje, en ese momento Víbora se transforma en un trío por más de medio año; el repertorio incluía covers de Poison, Motley Crue, Etc.
A principios del 2006 los miembros deciden expandir el repertorio y se suma a la banda Jonathan Fajardo, Marco Tulio (Ex -Miseria) y Jorge Martínez (Legacy), con ellos la banda comienza a incluir covers de W.A.S.P., Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Etc.
La banda participa en eventos como”Men At Rock” y “Power And Heavy Fest”, los toques en bares se expanden a San Miguel, Zacate y otros lugares. Marco y Jorge se vuelven miembros permanentes de la banda.
En Febrero del 2008 Marco decide abandonar la banda pasando a las voces Antonio Morán, y así se comienza la grabación del material original de la banda en abril del 2008. Entre Julio y Octubre de ese año la banda graba su primer video para televisión bajo la producción de Marco Tulio Aguilar del programa Rock en Acción del Canal 33 de El Salvador, además se dan apariciones en televisión en canales como el 6 y el 12 en diferentes programas de dicho país.
Se cuenta también con la participación de Julia Alvarado (Natural Killers) ayudando a la banda en los Covers. Para Octubre del 2008 la banda es nominada en los premios organizados por La Prensa Gráfica y Radio Femenina en 5 categorías entre estas mejor video, canción del año (Everytime You Leave) y mejor vocalista , obteniendo este premio Antonio Morán como mejor vocalista del los “Subterranica 2008”.
A mediados el 2009 se termina de grabar el material del primer disco de la banda en “Soundtrack Studio” con Julio Rodas como Productor, además del segundo video esta vez bajo la dirección de Edson Amaya productor conocido por trabajos con DreamLore y Symbolic.
Ese mismo año, Víbora sale por primera vez del país para participar en el Music Fest Guatemalteco obteniendo el segundo lugar del evento.
