I know for a fact that various prrgoams in the United Health Care network cover Bariatric surgery. You have to call and speak to your insurance provider directly. The verbage you're trying to get is whether or not bariatric surgery is a direct exclusion' for you. If it is, you'll want to change insurance companies. Otherwise you're golden. Some insurance companies will approve it even if it is a direct exclusion as long as your in-network care provider gets on board.
