Historia
Rey Azúcar nació en el año de 2005 a finales de noviembre, con la intención de hacer algo nuevo en El Salvador, llevar la paz a la gente y un mensaje a ese mundo que vive llena de guerra y de violencia, toman la base de nuestro fundador del reggae Bob Marley.. lo que les resta gran parte del éxito que esperaban......FuiMOs iNfULEnciados por los fabulosos cadillacs .... el rock latino siempre esta en nuestra sangre ...claro no podia faltar nustro sk*,
Debido a la 'espiritualidad' que emanaba de sus canciones se presentaron por primera vez en "GUADALAJARA ROCK" ahí empiezan a destacarse en el país.....lo cual con tres meses de llevarle mensaje a la gente forman su publico inteligente... gente q siempre le ha sido fiel a Rey Azúcar.. y con sus aplausos le dan la gracias al grupo de lo bien que tocan.

SanjayA very sad day as the world has lost a truly great author. She could make woldrs come alive whether it be the series of Pern books, the Dinosaur/S[censurado]inaks, Pegasuses, Rowans, or even A Stitch in Snow (which I've always wondered if it was actually a real life' story for her), Black Horses for the King, or her other non-scifi stuff. She made her woldrs so complete, with human, flawed, real characters, that you would think you could go to the airport and get a ticket to go visit. I also loved how her book series intersected like the Pegasus and Rowan series, two parts obviously far apart in their history, or Pern mentioning the same Exploration groups that the Dinosaur/S[censurado]kinak series used.She was an incredibly intelligent and loving woman. Although I never got the chance to meet her in person, my parents attended a book signing for me and said they enjo[censurado] chatting with her for even those few minutes (even though they'd never read scifi/fantasy books).I started reading her books when Pern only had 6 books and greatly identified with Menolly. Today, music (telling the story) and teaching remain two of the major parts of my life. I truly believe it's because of Anne's books.Anne, as someone else noted in their post, you were the ultimate MasterHarper. I sing with joy to celebrate the life you had and the special stories you've shared with the world, and the tears fall for the voice that is now silenced. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends as they gather to celebrate this wonderful lady. |
