MINIUM presentó su nuevo disco

Jueves 15 de Agosto. La joven banda de pop alternativo Minium presentó su primer material musical en La Luna Casa y Arte. Acompañando a la banda - liderada por la danesa Janne Jacobsen (voz), Rodrigo Zapata (guitarra líder) Juan Campos (bajo), Julio Saca (batería) y Eugenio Aguilar (guitarra rítmica) -, se presentaron Apartamento 31 y Tótem.

Minium es por hoy una banda con un sonido fresco, melódico y diferente a lo que estamos acostumbrados a escuchar. La voz de la danesa es exquisita y pudiera ser explotada aún más.

Considérenlo como piropo: Esta chica no tiene nada que envidiarle a Alanis Morrisette o a la cantante de los Cranberries. La juventud de la banda y la poca experiencia en escenarios son uno de los factores que aún pesan sobre este conjunto (Están muy tiesos). Sin embargo, desde la primera vez que pudimos verlos en el último Guanarock, se nota mucho el empeño y dedicación que le han metido.

El disco, producido en los estudios de los hermanos Jorge y Raúl Lara, fue grabado en los primeros meses de este año 2002. Los muchachos dicen que el tiempo de grabación anduvo por los tres meses y fue de bajo presupuesto.

El disco tienen 9 temas entre los cuales destacan “To my eyes”, “R&B”, “Lies”, "A Million Words", "Sometimes" y otras. Como podrás ver Minium se ha salido del canon que la música original salvadoreña se canta en español.
Esperamos que en el futuro la Jacobsen pueda deleitarnos con algún tema en nuestro idioma.

Indry I love the new uniform! The Dogs are only going to wear them for one game. Why all the cheattr? However, I'd love to see this in the blackout uni that would be really cool. BTW, I am 42 and agree that they will appeal to the teen set as well. I wonder how the players feel, isn't that what really matters?
