Dale Watts con la Fiesta Friguey en VTV

Surge una nueva propuesta de música nacional que se deja ver. Desde este viernes inicia Dale Watts, un programa para jóvenes conducido y producido por tres músicos salvadoreños: Max Méndez, William Paiz y Raúl “El Chato” Hernández, todos ellos integrantes de la banda Frigüey.
Dale Watts es televisión con un formato diferente. No es producido en estudio. VTV, el canal por el que se transmitirá el programa, deja en manos de los músicos la totalidad de la producción creativa, pero los apoya con equipo profesional de televisión. Por esto, Dale Watts es un concepto innovador, dinámico y bastante independiente, tanto en contenido como en edición. Las locaciones son casuales (un café, la casa del invitado, la calle, un bar…) y las intervenciones y entrevistas son espontáneas, sin seguir un guión estricto.
Con Max Méndez, como presentador y autor de la idea original; William Paiz, como presentador y en la edición de video; y Raúl “El Chato” Hernández, en cámaras y presentador de sección, Dale Watts viene a ser un espacio más para ventilar el arte musical nacional.
En palabras de Méndez, "Se pretende que el publico reciba las buenas vibras, alegría y espontaneidad que caracteriza a los proyectos de la fiesta friguey y mostrar en un espacio televisivo, parte de las actividades que se realizan siendo músico, compartir experiencias, conocer gente y abordar el mundo del espectáculo des de un punto de vista muy particular".

LA RECOMENDACIÓN DE LA SEMANA. A cargo de Max Méndez. Se recomienda un disco de cierta importancia (histórica, polémica, record de ventas) que no necesariamente es actual, pero sí enriquece tu cultura musical.
MÚSICA NUEVA. William Paiz muestra los discos recién salidos del horno en la industria musical nacional o internacional. El disco es calificado, William comenta tanto lo bueno como lo malo del mismo.
MUSICOCINANDO. Max, William y sus invitados de la farándula nacional se van a la cocina para hacer un platillo musical. Un pretexto delicioso para charlar con ellos sobre su música, experiencias y proyectos.
DALE WATTS A TU LIRA. El Chato y su guitarra “Carmelita” aprenden junto al televidente sobre técnicas, géneros musicales y sonidos relacionados a la ejecución de la guitarra (lira), en una divertida tertulia con diferentes guitarristas salvadoreños.
