Rock “Electro-sinfónico” con Amaretto

El grupo Amaretto, integrado por leyendas y talentos del rock&roll salvadoreño - Tony Delgado (Ex Kiriap en la voz), Mincho Luna (bajo), Ricardo Alvayeros (en la batería), Roberto Alfaro y Francisco Arteaga (teclados), Mario Guerrero (guitarra) -, dieron un espectacular concierto el pasado miércoles 27 de noviembre.
El recital fue una experienca en la que se combinaron la energía "eléctrica" del rock junto a un ensamble sinfónico con el cual interpretaron lo mejor de la música “adulto contemporáneo”.
Para esta ocasión, el grupo liderado por Tony Delgado, contó con la participación de un ensamble de vientos y cuerdas dirigido por Nelson Melgar en las cuales participaron figuras de la talla de el maestro Francisco Castaneda (Director de El Salvador Big Band) y figuritas como Hector Rodas, maestro en el saxofón y los vientos, Hector Zúñiga (trompetas) y Miguel Rodríguez en el trombón.
Amaretto dedico este concierto al Doctor Jorge Sicilia, uno de los impulsores del proyecto musical. En el concierto se hicieron arreglos para temas de grupos como Queen, INXS, Malo, KC and the Sunshine Band, Airsupply, The Beatles y otros.
Sonaron los éxitos: “How can you mend a broken Heart”, “Pretty Woman”, “Suspicios Mind”, “Suavecito”,”Make me Smile”, “Noches en Blanco Satín”,”I Want to break Free”,”Eleanor Rigby”,”Beds are Burning”, Camino de Hormiga” (canción de Los Lovers, banda salvadoreña reconocida en los 70´s), “Get Ready”, “The Year of the cat”, “Can´t take my eyes of you”, “Sea of Love”, “Jesús”,”Never tear us apart”, “Nena”,”El extraño de pelo largo”,”Unchaine my Heart”,”I´m your boggie man”,”We are the champions”,”Incompresión” (canción de la banda Kiriaps) y por último “Black Magic Woman” de Carlos Santana.
A pesar de algunos problemas con el sonido, el concierto fue todo un éxito. El público aplaudió a más nos poder temas populares “del recuerdo”, de los años 70´s y 80´s. A parte, Amaretto incluyó temas como “Mentira”, del grupo La Ley popular entre los jóvenes actuales.
No es primera vez que Amaretto realiza un concierto de este tipo. El primer experimento fue realizado a finales de 2001 con la compañía de miembros de la Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de El Salvador. En tal ocasión Amaretto llenó por completo el teatro presidente y se tuvo que repetir el espectáculo “a petición”.
Amaretto ha demostrado que es una banda profesional de calibre; sin embargo, estaremos más felices cuando inviertan toda su habilidad y creatividad en la creación de temas originales “hechos en casa”, así como pueden ejecutar muy bien la música de otros artistas. ¡Si ya tienen público! Aprovechen.
