Heresis cae patada al pecho a la escena del metal guanaco, ahora, con un disco y con la escolta de las bandas Araña, El Atico, Berserk, Perverso, Soundlab, Anteres Deaht, quienes compartirán escenario brindando una buena muestra del rock y metal que se produce en casa.

ACERCA DE HERESIES

Heresis es una banda salvadoreña de Groove Death Metal fundada en Junio de 2010, conformada por: Olga Castro – Vocal, Kike Castro - Primera Guitarra, Rigoberto Batres - Segunda Guitarra, Ricardo Lopez – Bajo y Giovanni Rosales – Bateria, con grandes influencias de bandas como Pantera, Lamb of God, Arch Enemy.

Tras permanecer 2 años a la banda conocida como “Strangers” dedicada a hacer tributos a bandas internacionales tales como Megadeth, Metallica, Pantera, etc. Los miembros decidieron desligarse del concepto “Cover”, para lo cual consideraron de mayor importancia modificar un poco la alineación original de Strangers, razón por la que en Mayo del 2010 ingreso a la banda Rigoberto Batres a cargo de interpretar la segunda guitarra, se decidió también, iniciar este proyecto a una sola voz principal y cambiar el nombre de “Strangers” a “Heresies”.

“Heresies” (Herejías) procede de la palabra griega "haieresis" que indica una escuela del pensamiento, Doctrinas o ideas religiosas que las autoridades consideran erróneas e incluso prohíben, Herejes son aquellos que eligen en que creer. Este nombre que denota libertad de pensamiento y acciones fue elegido por todos los integrantes lo cuales se sintieron grandemente identificados por la filosofía de este concepto, propuesto por Olga Castro, e inspirado por una de las bandas considerada una de sus influencias mas fuertes: Pantera y su canción: “Heresy”, una de las favoritas de la banda.

Fue así como en Junio 2010, Heresies decidió encontrar su propio estilo y género musical e iniciar el camino hacia crear sus propios temas, combinando la diversidad de influencias de cada uno de los integrantes y esforzándose en largas sesiones de ensayo para agregar a su música y presentaciones en vivo la mayor calidad, originalidad y profesionalismo posible.

Heresies debutó en La Luna Casa y Arte, en el mes de Septiembre 2010, en un concierto organizado por la banda Symbolic en el cual también ejecutaron su poderosa música, bandas de alta calidad y memorable trayectoria, tales como Kraner, Symbolic y Dreamlore.

Luego de esto, esta joven banda, ah sido invitada a participar en conciertos junto a bandas importantes en la escena nacional, como Berserk, Virginia Clem, Barek, Araña, Perverso, Damnation, Bitter Disection, etc. Al igual que ha participado en eventos muy significativos para la escena nacional tales como “ROCK & TOYS”, Maaskab Open Air y Metal Assault.

Actualmente Heresies ha sido invitada a participar en eventos proximos muy significativos para la escena nacional tales como la presentación del disco Teotl, de Araña, el Metal Maidens II y por supuesto el Thrash Atack.

Heresies, presentara su primer álbum “Awaking the Madness” este próximo 3 de Septiembre, en La Luna Casa y Arte.
