Y el ganador del CLIO 2009 es...

La campaña "U2 veni" In the name of El Salvador, impulsada por Radio Femenina y realizada por la empresa APEX BBDO obtienen un premio bien merecido.

Para los que desconocen que son los premio Clio, son algo así como los Oscar de la Publicidad.

Su nombre viene de la mitología griega, Clio era una de las nueve musas de las artes y las ciencias, que inspiraba a quienes sobresalían en esas disciplinas.

El Premio se estableció en 1959 para celebrar la excelencia creativa en la publicidad. Originalmente, centraba su atención en la publicidad de los Estados Unidos, pero el alcance del premio se amplió, en 1965, para cubrir el trabajo publicitario internacional.

La cotizada estatuilla de Clio es diseñada y fabricada por R.W. Owens de Chicago, la misma compañía que hace los Oscares y los Emmys, entre otros prestigiosos premios, viene en oro, plata y bronce.

En el 2009 se celebra la edicion de oro de los Clio, la 50º entrega y Radio Femenina junto con Apex viajaron hasta las Vegas para recibir el Clio en la categoria "Integrated Campaign"

Como todos sabemos la campaña consistio en un llamado colectivo para que la mitologica banda irlandesa U2 nos viera como pais, el objetivo fue logrado y aun estamos a la espera para ver si visitan nuestro pais durante su gira 360º

Sea como sea, a nadie le fue indiferente la exitosa campaña. Musicos, estudiantes, politicos y hasta religiosos fueron influenciados por esta gran epidemia.

Felicidades a Radio Femenina, el maximo apoyo a la musica nacional a nivel radial y a nuestros amigos de APEX BBDO, esperamos sigan siendo tan creativos y llenando de glorias a nuestro pais.
