Bienvenido al mundo de PESCOZADA... el secreto que ya no se puede contener entre los que siguen la farándula internacional del Hip Hop en Español. Por varios meses una amplia gama de productores y artistas, junto a promotores, prensa, radio y televisión han descubierto lo que todos ellos consideran será “un nuevo capitulo en la música latinoamericana”.
El resultado de años de preparación, contactos, conciertos y colaboraciones han culminado en la producción de su cuarto proyecto discografico y segundo álbum como grupo: “EL TEATRO PLEBEYO”
Diez colaboraciones artisticas, siete países, cinco productores, cuatro estudios de grabaciones, un solo proposito: El de convertir a PESCOZADA en el grupo de musica urbana mas novedoso, dinámico y provechoso de Latino America.
PESCOZADA fue formado en 1998 por dos amigos quienes compartían una pasión por el Hip Hop: Cesar Díaz Alvarenga (Debil Estar), y Luis Escobar (Fat Lui). Juntos y desde una temprana edad, los integrantes vivieron los más oscuros capítulos del conflicto armado salvadoreño el cual tuvo como sangriento escenario a la zona norteña del país, especialmente el departamento/provincia de Chalatenango. En el 2004 el grupo tuvo una estrecha colaboracion con productor Salvadoreño radicado en USA, Omnionn (Agustin Anaya), a quien integraron al grupo oficialmente en el 2007 despues de producir varios albumes, hacer varias giras internacionales, y haber estado al mando de los aspectos administrativos, legales relacionados a la expansion internacional del proyecto.
En el 2002 su primer disco “Díaz Ozkuros en el Barrio” fue lanzando independientemente a nivel centro americano. Radio estaciones reconocieron el impacto cultural y artístico creado por el disco y empezaron a rotar canciones como “Días Oscuros” y “Mi Flow”.
En el 2003, PESCOZADA produjo y lanzó la primera compilación de “Hip Hop Guanaco” titulado “EL KLAN DE LA DIZKORDIA – La Primera Reunión”. Este álbum cementó el Hip Hop como un género poderoso en Centro América y especialmente en El Salvador. Nuevamente, este fue un esfuerzo independiente pero grandemente aceptado. En 2003, La China Records y Universal Music (España) seleccionó la canción “¿Qué estamos haciendo?” en el segundo compilado “Laboratorio Hip Hop Vol.2”.
Ese mismo año PESCOZADA apareció en varias producciones musicales que incluyeron colaboraciones con Los Reyes del Bajo Mundo (USA), “Meswey” (USA), XTUV (Mex.), y crearon enlaces con productores de Hip Hop en USA y Europa como March the 5th, Omnionn, Pete One, SmoothCut, y DJ Moon entre otros.
En el 2004, DIALECTOS NATIVOS, una colaboración entre Santos y PESCOZADA establecieron un puente cultural urbano entre primeras y segundas generaciones de Salvadoreños y Centro Americanos nacidos en Norte America. DIALECTOS NATIVOS ha recibido una tremenda respuesta de parte de los medios de prensa en Centro America, España y Norte America. Por primera vez en mucho tiempo las comunidades inmigrantes centro americanas en estas areas tienen algo que musical y culturalmente los represente. Una nueva generacion de jóvenes se reconectaron al “dialecto” e idiosincrasias de sus padres encajados a ritmos de Hip Hop que los acompaña.
“EL TEATRO PLEBEYO” fue uno de los lanzamientos mas esperados por varias disqueras y sellos. El album fue el resultado de productores mundialmente consagrados como ANDINO, SEAN T, OMNIONN, MARCH THE 5TH y PETE ONE. La obra cuenta con la colaboración de FROST (2001 Grammy Winner) APOLO 11, REYES DEL BAJO MUNDO, MIKY Y EL AS, y otros artistas, haciendo de este álbum de Hip Hop en Español el mas complejo y ambicioso hecho hasta la fecha.
La prestigiosa revista HIP HOP NATION (españa) consideró la obra uno de los albumes mas importantes en el hip hop latinoamericano añadiendo “PESCOZADA [está] en clara ventaja frente a la gran mayoria de los grupos latinoamericanos...” -- Hip Hop Nation, edici[on #66, Nov. 2005
En el 2006, PESCOZADA hizo presencia en el FESTIVAL CULTURA URBANA 2006 en Madrid, España, donde enlazaron con los maximos exponentes del hip hop español como Frank T, Violadores del Verso, Hablando en Plata Squad, Kultaman, y DOS HERMANOS, con quienes grabaron un sencillo. El grupo tambien se presento en la sala mas grande dedicada al hip hop de españa, MICRO LIBRE HIP HOP HALL en Sevilla como acto principal, dejando la marca del rap salvadoreño en la mecca del hip hop español.
